A football tournament named memory Kostia Prokopchuk was held May 20-21 in the village Smyga among children born in 2007. At the beginning kids from school in Smyga amused of us that prepared a beautiful discovery.
It’s nice that responded to our invitation following teams: FC «Volyn» Lutsk, FC «Adrenaline» Lutsk, FC «Energetic» Netishyn, FC «Zorya» (Rivne region), FC «Victoria» Starokostyantyniv. Despite the small number of teams, the tournament was very interesting and intriguing, every game became a kind of struggle.
All the teams were divided into 2 groups of 4 teams. In the end, two teams from each group continued to struggle for the cup. They were FC «Euroshpon-Smyga», FC «Adrenaline», FC «Volyn 1» і FC «Volyn 2».
In the first semifinal have met FC «Euroshpon-Smyga» and FC «Adrenaline». . In regular time the match was held in a tense struggle and ended in a draw 1:1. In the penalties excessive excitement of children from Smyga not allowed to win – 3:2 in favor of our guests.
In the second semifinal have met two team from Volyn, FC «Volyn 2» got the victory.
In match for 3rd place with team of FC «Volyn 1» our team again giving place 0:2, This game has clearly defined the problem, namely – the short reserve bench. The final (FC «Volyn 2» – FC «Adrenaline») was very interesting and was held from one attack to another. But again the winner has determined by penalties. FC «Volyn 2»» – chempions.
