The tournament «Cup of Euroshpon» was held on 19-21 of October among children born in 2010 The tournament contained 16 teams that were strong in composition. For the first time, the following teams came to us: FC «Balkans» Khmilnyk, FC «Lviv» 2010. The tournament turned out to be very unexpected and was a pleasant surprise. After all, the kids showed a good game, which was nice to watch.
As a result of the struggle in the group stages, the 8 strongest ones were identified, who continued to compete for the main prize after the 1/4 finals under the Olympic system. The tension of the struggle is evidenced by the fact that all matches of the quarter-finals (in the struggle to enter the semifinals), determined the winners by a penalty shoot-out.
Results of semifinals:
1. FC «Euroshpon-Smyga» 4:1 FC «Volyn» Lutsk;
2. FC «Dynamic» Kyiv 0:0 (3:2) CYSS Khmelnytskyi.
So, they met in the final FC «Euroshpon-Smyga» – FC «Dynamic» Kyiv.
Before defining the winner of the tournament, was preceded the match for the 3rd place, in which the CYSS Khmelnitsky confidently wins FC «Volyn» Lutsk – 4:0. The final turned out to be extremely tense. The eight-year-old boys showed meaningful, mature football, no one wanted to give up. In the main time, the electronic scoreboard fixed the bill 2:2.And again the winner was determined by a penalty shootout, where our countrymen have become more skilful and successful. The «Cup of Euroshpon» has stayed in Smyga.
The best player in the tournament was our footballer – Moomotyuk Maxim.
